Dr. Abdellatif Abuissa is an Associate Professor of Computer Engineering at Birzeit University. He got his BSc with distinction from Birzeit University in 2001, MSc with distinction in 2004 (with best student certificate and prize) and PhD in 2009, both from the University of Birmingham, UK in Electronic and Computer Engineering. Dr. Abuissa has industrial experience in ICT field as he worked for Siemens ICT for two years from 2001 to 2003. Dr. Abuissa worked in many administrative positions in Birzeit University such as department chairperson, and director of MSc program. Also, he was either appointed or elected in many key committees at Birzeit University such as the Academic council, Faculty of Engineering Council, eLearning Committee, and many others. Dr. Abuissa has participated and/or led many international projects funded by Tempus, Erasmus+, Qatar Foundation, and German-Palestinian Science Bridge. Dr. Abuissa has many publications in the field of Digital Systems, smart systems, and e-learning. He supervised many MSc theses in different Palestinian universities in the field of Intelligent Tutoring Systems and eLearning. He has taught many courses including Digital Systems, Computer Organization, Cryptography and Information Security.
